The Light at the End of the Tunnel!

I can see it!

School is so close to being over. All I have to do is whip out three final papers, two final exams and one portfolio and I am home free!

I can do this. Right?

Some Nights...

I just can't seem to fall asleep.

Tonight is one of those nights.

Sometimes I wish blogging could help me fall asleep like it helps me procrastinate homework, but that just isn't the case.

In other news I think I'm giving myself an ulcer. I say this a lot, but I really think it's true. I stress about stupid things, and I think about the past far too often. In case you were wondering.

Dear Family,

I am missing you terribly this weekend!

From going to the new Harry Potter movie at Midnight with you guys, to the Bingham Miner's football Final against Fremont. This isn't even to mention the kiddies growing up right under my nose, or the prep for Thanksgiving (which I actually really do like). At any rate, I am feeling particularly homesick at the moment. Hopefully, if I can plan well enough I will be home Wednesday, Thursday and then again Saturday and Sunday :) I am ridiculously happy that I get to be there for Thanksgiving (if only for the actual dinner part). I thought I would let all of you know that I love and miss you. Two and half ish years of being at USU has taught me a tiny bit more about appreciating things that mean the most. And my dear family, you mean the world to me. I hope you know this, but in case you don't I'll say it again. I love you all so much! So this is for my family.

For all two of you...

I thought that I would let you know that I don't know what to do or think. I feel like I've somehow messed up things but I don't know how. Usually I'm pretty good at placing blame on things like school, timing, lack of sleep and other such random excuses. At the moment I feel like I've just made a mess of a lot of things and I don't know what to do.

In case you were wondering.

One-hundred and Fifty

That is how many blog posts I've done! Woot for never doing homework! And how will I commemorate this momentous occasion? A list of course!

1. Old Navy. I work there now. Gotta say I'm still figuring things out. It's not too bad though; however, when I ask customers if they're finding everything alright and they answer in affirmative, I wish I could say "Really? Well then, could you help me? Because I've been looking for this one shirt for probably 20 minutes and I still don't know where it goes..." Eventually I find out from a manager that it's a men's shirt and I've been looking in the woman's section for a really long time.

2. Utah State University. I think I've ranted enough about registration, but just one more word on the subject... Ridiculous. Anyway, school is going fairly well. I think. And hope. I really won't find out until the week after finals. I guess that's ok though.

3. Family. I miss them a lot. Especially when they're growing right under my nose!

4. Friends. I like them a lot. Especially when they come to visit.

5. Holidays. I dunno if I'm very excited about those. I may or may not even be home for Thanksgiving and I plan on being in Logan for the entire duration of Christmas break. Sad day huh?

6. I'm not sure what else to write. Sorry if my One Hundred and Fiftieth blog post wasn't very exciting. Thanks for reading all the same!

I'd Rather Be Blogging...

So I am. Instead of doing homework.

Have you ever felt just little disjointed? Like things are just slightly off, but only enough to be barely recognizable, therefore enough to drive one crazy?

I think I've felt like that lately. It's very obnoxious.

In other news, I'm sitting in the library, slightly frozen, listening to pandora (which hasn't been doing the greatest job at finding songs that I really want to listen to...) I have a paper due at 9:30 tomorrow morning and I have the smallest paragraph that has my thesis... but all in all it's already crappy. I don't want to be at the library. I thought it would be such a good idea. It wasn't.

I'm going home.

I Write Lists...

Because I like crossing things off said list. However, on my blog I like to write lists for apparently no reason at all. So, here we go!

WHY is it that hindsight is 20/20? Why couldn't foresight be 20/20? I hate looking back at things and knowing exactly what I should have done. This has been bugging me a lot lately (and by "lately" I mean predominately for the past two years).

In relation to this, I wish I could know what was going to be discussed in my classes. Most of the time it's interesting and insightful in the majority of my classes, but today one of my class discussions revolved around violent video games and everything that that brings out argument-wise. Definitely a class I could have skipped (mostly because I've had that discussion ten billion times in various psychology classes).

I dislike writing a paper, re-writing said paper, revising paper, and repeating only to find myself staring at a paper that I positively hate and the only thing I can do about it is turn it in and hope for the best.

Today I bought a watch. I can't decide if I like it or not.

Working + School = Very Little time for anything except work and school. Who woulda thunk it? (Just as a side note- the word "thunk" does not have a red squiggly line underneath it... is that a real word? Or the right conjugation of the word "think?")

I just looked up the word "thunk," which is a word defined as an abrupt, dull sound. So yes and no. It is a word, however it is not the proper conjugation of the word "think"- the proper conjugation would in fact be "thought."

I feel like I had more to write about, but I can't remember (even with writing what I wanted to put on this blog post...) Oh well. I hope you enjoyed!
